Paint Colors Throughout Our Home

August 12, 2019 by Jessica 3 Comments

I’m going to start this post off by saying that our home continues to be a work in progress, and that I plan to edit/update this as we work on painting the remaining rooms in the house. With that being said, in the two years since we purchased our home, we have painted the kitchen, mudroom/laundry room, dining room, family room, formal living room, upstairs and downstairs foyer, powder room, master bedroom, the girl’s bedroom, and the upstairs/kid’s bathroom. Whew, that’s a lot of painting. It’s probably also worth mentioning that we have done all of the painting ourselves, and by we, I mean me. My husband did help me with the foyer, because there was scaffolding involved, and I hate heights, but otherwise, the majority of the painting has been done by yours truly! When I share photos of our home on Instagram, or over on my stories, I sometimes get questions about the colors that I have used, so I figured it was time that I dedicate a blog post to sharing about all of the paint colors we have used thus far.

I will fully admit that I am a big fan of neutrals, and have only gone bold in a couple of the rooms. I like to change up my decor often, and I feel like going with neutral wall colors makes that easier on me. It’s much simpler to buy a new throw pillow or rug than it is to repaint an entire room. Trust me, I know this from experience. So, without further ado, here are the paint colors we have used throughout our home so far…

Foyer: Uncertain Gray by Sherwin-Williams

Family Room: Agreeable Gray by Sherwin-Williams

Dining Room: Repose Gray by Sherwin-Williams

Kitchen & Mudroom/Laundry Room: Misty by Sherwin-Williams

Formal Living Room: Sea Salt by Sherwin-Williams

Upstairs Bathroom: Repose Gray by Sherwin-Williams. Cabinets: Peppercorn by Sherwin-Williams

Master Bedroom: Peppercorn by Sherwin-Williams

Girl’s Bedroom: Intimate White by Sherwin-Williams

Powder Room: Narragansett Green by Benjamin Moore

I still have rooms to paint, the boy’s room, the guest room, and our sunroom are calling my name. I will update this post when I finally get to them!
