It has been awhile since I posted a weekend recap, and for the most part, that’s because our weekends aren’t usually terribly exciting these days, so those posts can seem a bit redundant. This past weekend though… it was a good one, so I felt it was necessary to share some photos!
My best friend, Jessie, came into town on Friday night, and it goes without saying, that having girlfriends around will always make for a good time, especially when their arrival makes your kids so over-the-moon excited! I am so thankful when she comes to visit, because she helps out so much with M, E, & T, and they totally adore her.
Much of the weekend was spent lounging in the backyard, where we indulged in Popsicles, sangria, s’mores, and food cooked on the grill.
Jessie, Theo, and I were able to escape for a bit on Saturday to meet another friend of ours, who also happens to live in NY, for lunch.
I rarely get out these days without 3 kids in tow, so it was such a treat… Crazy how easy it seems nowadays to go anywhere with just one babe!
Though the weekend was full of hot weather, squirt gun fights, and lots of fun, we certainly couldn’t forget what Memorial Day is really all about. We are so thankful to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line and have served our country, so that the rest of us can continue to enjoy the things that make America great!
