Accessorizing with Jord Watches

I don’t think it’s any secret, that these days I spend more time in yoga pants and leggings than I do dressing myself up in real clothes.

As much as I love fashion, it isn’t always ideal for me to put on something nice when I know full well it is going to end up covered in spit up.  From time to time, I find myself feeling a little less than glamorous because of this, so recently I began making it a point to, at the very least, do something with my hair, put on some make up, and throw on some fabulous accessories.

It’s amazing how much better these simple things make me feel… even when I’m still sporting my “mom uniform”.

 One of my favorite new accessories is the Cora style, Koa & Rose Gold watch from Jord.  I’ve always been a watch lover, but this one in particular, is so much more unique than any other piece I have owned.

The combination of warm and rich Koa wood and the beautiful rose gold face had me swooning from the moment that I opened the box. The packaging alone was impressive, as the Cora is presented in a gorgeous wooden box, and as far as women’s watches go,  this one is total conversation starter.  Anytime I wear it out, I get asked about it.  “Is that a wooden watch?” “How cool is that!”… and I totally agree… It is such a cool watch, and I love wearing it.

An added bonus; this watch does not require a battery, it is completely self-winding and automatic… which is awesome, because I am notorious for letting watches collect dust as soon as the battery dies.

I’m really happy with the style and color that I chose… the watch matches pretty much everything, pairs well with many of my bracelets, and is the perfect combination of masculine and feminine.  In all honesty though, it was a tough to choose… there are so many great styles of both men’s watches and women’s… I may just end up giving my husband one as a gift in the future.  One thing is for certain, a wooden watch most definitely makes for a unique gift.
