Happy Saturday morning friends! Believe it or not, I am currently typing this post, while sitting in a cozy ski lodge, with a warm cup of coffee in hand. My amazing mother in law came to visit and sent Mike and I away for the night, while she watched our babies for us. I always have the hardest time leaving them, but the truth is, I NEVER do, and this was a much needed break. We headed off to the mountains for a little R&R, and I can’t even put into words how beautiful it is right now in the Adirondacks. It’s also worth noting that I forgot how enjoyable eating at a restaurant can be when you are kid-free. Today we are heading home, to check in on everyone, and shortly after this post goes live on Saturday morning, we are hopping on a train and making our way to NYC for another night alone together… dreams really do come true.
