If you have children of your own, then you probably already know that kids require a lot of stuff. Packing a diaper bag with the essentials for one child is serious business, but packing for three kids (ages one to 4.5) is taking things to a whole other level. I’ve owned my fair share of diaper bags at this point (some might even call me a bag lady), but finding one that can accommodate everything that we need for a quick trip to Target, or a Saturday morning swimming lesson, is a BIG task! Pun totally intended. I’m a habitual over-packer, three kids or not, and one of the first things that I look for in a bag is whether or not it will be big enough to fit all of our stuff. Naturally, my next biggest concern is, is it stylish and functional?
At the moment, I am loving my new JJ Cole Bucket Tote in Aqua Radian. Not only am I obsessed with the color of this bag, but it totally exceeds all of our needs. With a total of 13 pockets, there is literally a place for everything. Plus, it comes equipped with a changing pad, a pacifier pod, a single bottle cooler, grips™ stroller attachments, a key clip and a removable shoulder strap. Even though my youngest is about to move on from using bottles, I have to tell you that the bottle cooler is perfect for housing our favorite sippy cups, and we’ve also used it to keep tubes of yogurt cool! I love that this bag allows me to carry all of the essentials that I need for my kids, along with some items for me as well… because let’s be serious, a great diaper bag holds a mama’s essentials too!
