Where Style and Safety Meet | Why We Love the Cybex Cloud Q Infant Carseat

July 28, 2017 by Jessica 9 Comments

This post is sponsored by Cybex. As always, all of the thoughts and opinions expressed here are 100% my own.

Just because I have three kids, and I spend a fair amount of time wearing yoga pants, it doesn’t mean that I don’t still care about what looks good. My love for all things stylish and sleek has even crossed over into baby gear. If there’s a product that looks great, but is also functional and safe for my kids, then sign me up. It wasn’t until I had baby number three that I discovered the Cybex Cloud Q Infant Car Seat, but it immediately had me swooning. Suited for babies from birth to approximately 18 months of age, not only is it an impressive looking car seat, with an innovative design, but Cybex is a company that prides itself in meeting the highest standards when it comes to safety. Designed and engineered in Germany, Cybex makes strollers, car seats and baby carriers that are designed for urban lifestyles. Their products are not only beautiful, but super high quality, and have won tons of awards.

It has been over five years since we last purchased an infant car seat, and a lot has changed in terms of options since then. I knew it was time for an upgrade when Theo came along, and I’m so thankful that we found the Cloud Q. It truly is an amazing thing when you don’t have to compromise style for safety. Thanks to Cybex, you can have both.

So what’s so amazing about this car seat you ask? Well, let me tell you… Above and beyond it’s stunning modern design, it has so many great safety features, and obviously that is what’s most important. The car seat offers a unique telescopic Linear Side-impact Protection System (L.S.P.). This system helps to absorb the force of a side-impact collision, and then the flexible material and structure of the car seat absorbs the forces of an impact and channels them away from the baby. There is also a five point harness and an 11 position height adjustable head rest.

One of my favorite features of the Cloud Q is the ergonomic design with full recline position for when you’re outside of the car, and using the seat as a carrier. This impressive attribute is so perfect for when you’re out and about with a snoozing baby. It offers a longer leg rest and a fully horizontal reclining position, so that your baby can sleep safely and comfortably. The Cloud Q also comes equipped with an XXL fold-away sun canopy with built-in UPF 50+. Not only is this great for keeping your babe out of the sun, but also for protecting them from the wind and rain.

The Cloud Q infant car seat is available in several different color options (I chose Black Sea) to suit every style. The fabric is soft and cozy, and one thing is for certain, this car seat will look good, and protect your baby everywhere you go.
