Holiday Home Tour

December 12, 2017 by Jessica Leave a Comment

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is less than two weeks away. I swear that every year it flies by faster and faster, and this year has certainly been no exception. Normally as soon as Halloween is over, I’m more than ready to deck the halls for the holidays, but this year I was forced to hold back. We have been working on so many projects/renovations in our new home, that my plans to bust out the holiday decor had to be restrained until we were done installing new flooring on the main level of our house. A project that was 100% worth it, but as you can imagine, as soon as the family room was completed, I was on my way to the tree farm. Holiday home tours are always among some of my favorite blog posts to read. I love home decor in general, but decor of the festive variety is my ultimate fave! I had to refrain from showing you guys too much just yet, as our family room update is still very much in the works, and I don’t intend to share all of that until we are ready for a full reveal, but I’m hoping that the bits and pieces that I can share this year are enough. I really tried to add a touch of the holidays in every room of our home. I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas, and reds and greens are a must for me. Above and beyond that, I like for our home to feel cozy and festive in a come-on-in-and-make-yourself-at-home kind of way, and I’d like to think that I accomplished that, seeing as I’d much rather be at home this time of year than anywhere else.

So grab a cup of hot cocoa, extra marshmallows of course, and come on in…
