My first blog post of 2019, and it’s only the second week of January! First of all, Happy New Year. Secondly, I took a little bit of time off to really think about my intentions for this space over the last few weeks. I’ve been blogging for about five years now, and so much has changed in the world of social media and here on Kozy & Co., more specifically. 2018 was a huge year for me in terms of the business goals I have for this little venture of mine, but I also feel like I really got away from some of the things that I truly love about blogging as I learned how to navigate mothering four children and running a business. When this blog first began it was simply a hobby, and space to creatively share about what I was feeling and into at the moment. I want to get back to that in 2019.
Swoon Worthy posts have always been a favorite of mine to write and of yours to read, so I wanted to dive back into blogging again with a little list of the things I am loving at the moment. Naturally seeing as it’s January and freezing outside, most of this weeks list involve things that make me feel warm and cozy and happy to be inside!
1. I hope the jogger trend never goes away, because I live for rocking sweats in public and having it be acceptable. I recently snagged this style on sale in both cream and olive, and they are so soft and comfy!
2. In terms of home decor, I feel like my style and taste is always evolving. I had been wanting a new area rug with more color in it for our family room, and I took the plunge with this one. Needless to say, I’m obsessed.
3. If you’re in need of something new to binge on Netflix, I’ve got you covered. Marie Kondo’s show Tidying Up will leave you feeling highly motivated to clean house and purge all of your junk! If you’re looking for a series that you won’t be able to stop watching and love psychological thrillers, then you must watch YOU. I’m pretty sure I watched all ten episodes in like 3 days… then I discovered that it was based off of a book and I instantly downloaded it to my kindle.
4. Well if this isn’t the cutest little pajama set in the world, I don’t know what is {top and bottoms}.
5. Over the last few months Max has become obsessed with Harry Potter. I wasn’t really sure if he was ready for the books (he’s 6), but for Christmas I ordered him this beautiful illustrated version of the first book. If you’re an HP lover, these books are a must-have.

6. Last week I made this easy and yummy chili and it was sooo good!
7. I’ve been really into using my essential oils for everything lately, and wanted a diffuser for Lilah’s nursery. This one is gorgeous and it’s on sale!
