For my second gift guide of these season I teamed up with Ella, my six year old, to help me pick out a bunch of fun gift ideas for six(ish) year old girls. Ella is still very much into imaginative play so dolls, stuffed animals, and collectibles are still among her favorite things. This is for sure the year of the LOL Doll in our house. She is obsessed and has asked for all things LOL. Ella is also super into arts and crafts and has really gotten into reading this year. The chapter books featured in this guide are great for kids in this age range.
A few of these gift ideas are items that we already own and can personally vouch for. The Barbie Dream House was a big (literally and figuratively) gift last year from her Nana and Aunt that she still plays with now. We’ve owned the kid’s kindle tablets for years, and I love all of the parental controls available on them. The paint by sticker books are super fun, and they’re great for road trips too! If you have a girl around the age of six to shop for, any of the things you see here are sure to be a hit!
