I feel like I’m always on a mission to find new foods that help me incorporate more vegetables into mine and my family’s meals. When it comes to my kids, it’s even better if these foods taste really good, and I don’t have to battle with them over eating them. This line is a great alternative to traditional tater tots and fries and a tasty way to add more vegetables to your family’s meals! I decided to use Green Giant’s Cauliflower French Onion Rings in one of my go-to simple weeknight recipes, and the meal was a hit with my husband and kids!
Here’s what you need to make these tasty Pulled BBQ Chicken & Crispy Onion Ring Sandwiches:
1 store-bought rotisserie chicken, meat removed and shredded
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
1 package of Green Giant® Veggie Rings® Cauliflower French Onion, prepared according to directions on package
Sandwich Buns, toasted if preferred
How to assemble the sandwiches:
Combine the pulled chicken and desired amount of barbecue sauce in a large bowl. If chicken is still warm, that’s all you need to do. If it’s cold, warm the chicken and BBQ sauce mix in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. Add chicken and BBQ sauce mixture to half sandwich bun, top with 2 Green Giant Veggie Rings, and then place top of bun on top! Enjoy!
