The Best Chili Recipe

This delicious chili recipe is the only one you'll ever need

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cans pinto beans undrained
  • 1 celery stalk finely diced
  • ½ green bell pepper diced
  • ½ jalapeno pepper seeded and diced
  • ½ yellow onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1.5 tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tbsp cumin
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes
  • salt + pepper to taste
  • ½ cup beef stock

Method
 

  1. In a large stock pot, brown the ground beef over medium high heat, until no longer pink.
  2. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add the celery, peppers, onion, and garlic and sauté until tender.
  4. Add in the dry spices and stir until fragrant.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer covered for about 2 hours, stirring often.
  7. Optional garnishes: shredded cheese, sliced jalapeños, sour cream or Greek yogurt, diced scallions, avocado.
